Online learning assignments for all of my classes will be found in canvas. Below is an itemized schedule for all of my classes to follow.  You will have until March 30 to complete the assignments and receive full credit.
 

REMOTE OUTLINE DAYS 01-10

Cheves/ Core Construction Carpentry 1&2


DAY 01

CONCEPTS:Basic Safety

TIME FRAME:60 Minutes

PLACE IN LESSON:Watch video and read material. This is material for revisiting standards learned earlier in the year along with some new material to further the concepts previously discussed.

PLATFORM PLAN:Will be the first 2 links in the module on canvas. Video directly relates to the reading material and shows the visual example of what is being discussed in the reading. Students will discuss what they have learned and what they have found most useful in the shop hands on situations they have been in.

PAPER PLAN: Copies of the reading material and a hand written response similar to the one discussed in the online portion.


DAY 02

CONCEPTS:BASIC SAFETY

TIME FRAME:60 minutes

PLACE IN LESSON: Vocabulary Review with connecting lines.  Will Show the focus points of the reading.

PLATFORM PLAN: Students will go to the canvas link for vocab and complete the review with the reading.

PAPER PLAN: Students will complete the guided worksheet that resembles the online work.


DAY 03

CONCEPTS:BASIC SAFETY

TIME FRAME:90 Minutes

PLACE IN LESSON: Students will work in google slides to begin a project that will illustrate situations where the review material will come into practice for on the job situations.

PLATFORM PLAN: Students will click link that will provide the rubric for the project.  They will follow day one step in the instructions.

PAPER PLAN: Students will go to the project rubric paper and begin on day one step.  Student will do the project on paper.


DAY 04

CONCEPTS:Basic Safety

TIME FRAME:90 Minutes

PLACE IN LESSON:Students open previous google slide document and continue working.

PLATFORM PLAN: Student will click link that provides project rubric.  They will follow the day 2 step for project completion.

PAPER PLAN: Students will look at rubric sheet and follow day 2 step to complete project on paper.


DAY 05

CONCEPTS:BASIC SAFETY

TIME FRAME:90 Minutes

PLACE IN LESSON:Students will use rubric to create a google slides presentation that depicts lessons learned in the reading and how it relates to real life situations.

PLATFORM PLAN: Students will click the link that takes them to project rubric.  They will follow the day 3 step in the rubric to finish the presentation.

PAPER PLAN: Students will follow rubric sheet to complete the step 3 section on paper.  This will finalize the project.


DAY 06

STANDARDS/CONCEPTS: Construction Math

TIME FRAME: 60 Minutes

PLACE IN LESSON: Students will revisit key terms that are vital for understanding every aspect of carpentry.  

PLATFORM PLAN: Students will click the link that will take the to the Trade Terms review.  They will complete the form to determine their prior and current knowledge in the terms associated with construction math.

PAPER PLAN: Students will complete the worksheet that has guided sentences to determine their current and prior knowledge of the trade terms associated with construction math.


DAY 07

STANDARDS/CONCEPTS: CONSTRUCTION MATH

TIME FRAME: 45 MINUTES

PLACE IN LESSON: Students will go through guided concepts that will revisit basic math such as PEMDAS and measurements.

PLATFORM PLAN: Click on link and go through the interactive math problem sheet with explanations and step by step work for each problem.

PAPER PLAN: Student will get Day 7 math worksheet that mirrors online work.


DAY 08

STANDARDS/CONCEPTS: CONSTRUCTION MATH

TIME FRAME: 45 Minutes

PLACE IN LESSON: Students will go through guided concepts that will revisit basic math such as Conversions and perimeter, area, and volume.

PLATFORM PLAN: Click on the link and go through the interactive math problem sheet with explanations and step by step work for each problem.

PAPER PLAN: Student will get Day 7 math worksheet that mirrors online work.


DAY 09

STANDARDS/CONCEPTS: CONSTRUCTION MATH

TIME FRAME: 45 Minutes

PLACE IN LESSON: The students will complete the test that will show what they have retained in the review of the module.  I will score the test and provide feedback on areas that the student can work on in prep for the final exam.

PAPER PLAN: Complete the Module test given in the test packet.
