Hello Thomasville High School Students, Families, Faculty and Staff!

What a great day to be a Bulldog!  I am honored to announce that I am your new principal at Thomasville High School.  I could not be more honored and excited to serve you and our Thomasville community.  Together, we will continue to provide a safe and welcoming environment for our students where they can succeed as they transition into young, independent, adults.

Since I’ve served as your assistant principal for the last 51/2 years, I bring continuity and familiarity which we all need during these unprecedented and challenging times.  As our students, especially our seniors, return in a few weeks, I promise that I will lead our faculty and staff as we face our challenges together and create many opportunities for success.  While all our students will be returning face to face and we will transition from hybrid to in person learning for all, we will still have guidelines for Covid 19.  I promise to guide us as we rely on our strengths and each other.   

As we begin our journey together with me as your principal, please remember that our priority will be on student achievement.  By teaching engaging, rigorous lessons personalized for our students’ needs, I have no doubts that we will be celebrating increased student academic outcomes.  With an outstanding coaching staff, we will be celebrating outstanding athletic accomplishments, and by mentoring and guiding our students, we will see increased graduation rates.  In short, we will be preparing our students to be successful adults and contributing citizens.

Community is defined as those who work together for a common cause or benefit.  As we look after each other and our THS community, we know that we have 650 phenomenal students and families and an incredible, dedicated staff.  I am humbled to accept this challenge as your principal and I am ready to get started!  Together, we will inspire, empower and love our students and continue to make Thomasville High School a pillar of our community.  Here’s to doing great things and to being a THS Bulldog!
