Parent Page Curriculum and Instruction

Thomasville High Parents,
We would like your partnership in teaching your children.  We know that there are a lot of things that you have to do in today's world, and that time is hard to come by.  This page is designed to help give you some ideas about how to help your child succeed at THS.
 
  • Reading: Have your child read at least 20 minutes a day.
  • Math practice: Ask them how Math is going, and send the Math teacher an email if you need assistance.  There are also great resources online such as Khan Academy that will walk students through the Math.
  • Time Management: there are some great resources that can help students to manage their time to get all assignments done, and have time for freedom to enjoy their time as well.
  • Working Students: please reach out to the school about students who are feeling overwhelmed with schoolwork and working on paying jobs.
