Greetings,

I am thrilled to begin this journey with you all. I am a dedicated and innovative educational
leader with a passion for fostering academic excellence and promoting a collaborative learning
environment. Throughout my career, I have been committed to inspiring educators,
empowering students, and engaging communities to create a vibrant and
inclusive educational experience.

I previously served as the Instructional Assistant Principal at Paisley IB School in Winston
Salem, NC, and before that, I was the Instructional Assistant Principal at Murphey Middle
School in Augusta, GA. My career in education began as an English Teacher at Cross Creek
Early College in Fayetteville, NC, where my innovative instructional methodologies and
dedication to student success earned me recognition as an AVID exemplary model classroom
teacher. I later served as a Curriculum and Instruction Specialist at
North Monterey County High School in Monterey, CA, where I directed
curriculum planning and development.

My education and experiences have thoroughly prepared me for this opportunity.
I am currently pursuing an Ed.D. in Curriculum & Instruction from Gardner Webb.
Additionally, I hold an Ed.S.in Educational Specialist from Augusta University, an
MSA in School Administration from Fayetteville State University and a B.S. in
English Language and Literature from Fayetteville State University.

I believe in the power of aligning educational practices with the values, interests,
and aspirations of students and educators. My approach to leadership is
rooted in fostering autonomy, nurturing skills, and building trust within the school
community. I am committed to maintaining high standards for all students and
stakeholders, emphasizing the significance of diversity and inclusion in education.

When I'm not at school, I cherish spending time with my large and wonderful family. I am a
proud mother of five amazing children. My oldest, Gabby, is a firefighter and EMT in Atlanta,
Georgia. Nicholas is pursuing a degree in software engineering at The Ohio State University.
Layla is following in our family's footsteps by attending Fayetteville State University,
where she's working towards a degree in accounting. My two youngest, Christian and
Aiden, are enthusiastic students in the North Carolina public school system. My fiancé
is a dedicated law enforcement officer in Randolph County. They are all excited
to be an extended part of the Bulldog family.

I look forward to being a part of the Bulldog Community.
