Hello Thomasville High School Students and Parents! Welcome to my THS Homepage.

My name is John Clontz. I am a CTE Business Teacher at Thomasville High School in Thomasville, North Carolina. The CTE Business Classes I teach are Business Essentials (formerly Principles of Business and Finance), Business Management I, Business Management II,  and Word 2019.

For the Fall of 2023 I am teaching Business Essentials for my 2nd, 3rd and 4th Block. My 1st Block is my Planning Period. In the Spring of 2024 I will be teaching 2 Business Management 1 classes and 1 Business Management 2 class.

Prior to teaching, I worked in  business and practiced law throughout the state. I have a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I also have a Law Degree from Wake Forest University School of Law. 

Please look over these pages and any documents or videos attached to them. This will include class rules and North Carolina Standards and Objectives for each class. These will act like a road map for our classes. 

We will be using THS Canvas learning system in class, so please make sure your students have their Chromebook computers, keep them charged, and bring them to school every day.
